DESIGN, FEATURES & SPECIFICATIONS

Rope Hoist, mounted on a supported I-Beam, which lowers & raises the cage. ln the absence of a RCC well inside the building, a fabricated enclosure supporting structure can be erected on site. This structure is independent of the building can be erected inside or outside the building, just touching. Guide wheels are fitted on the cage which run in the C-Guides which are provided on the structure on opposite sides. This arrangement enables smooth & trouble free travel of the cage in a vertically straight line. Collapsible gates are provided at all entry! exit points for essential safety.

STANDARD FEATURES

• DESIGN: Compact dimensions, low weight, easy to operate and easy to maintain, modular design with direct fits between components.
• MOTORS: S. CRANE uses sturdy cylindrical! conical rotor pole-changing motors with elegant continuous cast aluminium sections, integrated safety brakes insulation class F,IP54 protection.
• GEAR BOXES: Precision flat helical! spur gear units in light alloy housings with case-hardened gears, high-grade surface treatment and permanent oil. grease lubrication.
• BRAKES: Single! Dual-disc electromagnetic DC brakes featuring automatic braking on power failure. Environmentally sound brake linings designed for approx. 1 million braking operations allow long maintenance intervals.
• ELECTRICAL PANEL: Modular design, covering a very wide operating range. The systems are designed for ease of installation and maintenance and reliable operation, with fuseless circuitry, ducted wiring and non-screwed terminals. Each drive group is equipped with a motor overload protection device to provide effective protection against inadmissible overloading.

SPECIAL FEATURES

• LIMIT SWITCHES - To prevent over hoisting & over lowering of hook.
• ELECTRO-MECHANIC DOOR LOCKS - near the collapsible gates to ensure :
  1. Lift does not work electrically if any door is open.
  2. The collapsible gate does not open mechanically unless cage is on corresponding level.
• SPRING BUFFERS - on the floor of the lift well to cushion the cage.

OPTIONAL

1. Two speeds in all drives.
2. Limit switches & brakes in cross travel drive.
3. Independent push button station for bulky jobs. (Flame proof Hoists suitable for Gas Group I, IIA & IIB.)
